Founded in 2010, VIM is an entirely student-run fashion beauty & lifestyle publication at Michigan State University. VIM publishes a bi-annual print magazine, along with two bi-annual digital issues.

Pageant Queens Spread for VIM MSU Spring 2025 Issue

For this spread, I drew inspiration from vintage Miss America brochures, aiming to capture their timeless elegance. I chose a cursive-style typeface for the title to reflect that aesthetic and carried it into the flowing style of the visual elements throughout the layout. The decorative elements I designed were intended to highlight and frame the photographs, drawing attention to them while enhancing the overall composition.
